Rebellion in Iceland, Redux
Rebellion in Iceland, Redux
Keep in mind that, for real change to happen (not the Hopey, Changey offered by the Pragmatic middle), there will have to be a shift either to the left or the right. A shift to the right means austerity and a dog eat dog mentality. A shift to the left means the possibility of actually solving the economic collapse with people actually worrying about helping keep the pain to a minimum. Both, of course, have the possibility of dictatorship. The question is whether we choose to move forward, away from control by the bosses and bankster frauds. If so, the right and middle will be rejected.

UAW reaches sellout agreement with Ford
UAW reaches sellout agreement with Ford
Since GM and Chrysler can't strike (thanks to Obama), the question is if Ford workers are willing to sacrifice their livelihoods to the bosses. If so, they'll accept the contract. If not, they can lead the rest of the country in the fightback against said bosses. It will be interesting to see what their choice is.

Obama boasts of assassinating American citizen in Yemen
Obama boasts of assassinating American citizen in Yemen
The problem for those cheering the killing is that once it becomes policy to kill American citizens w/0 trial, the government can decide to do so not just outside the boundaries of the US. Which means we can all be targets of the government. On the other hand, the government is probably just admitting what was already the case, and probably has been since the first days of the republic.
